Automotive Technology

Their years of experience in the automotive repair industry and their commitment to educating students in automotive technology are key factors in making Barton a premier learning institution. Bartons Automotive Technology Program is recognized by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). This assures Bartons automotive program meets the standards of excellence established by automotive professionals and educators nationwide. Ensuring that each student is well prepared for successful employment, Barton provides classroom instruction and hands-on experience in utilizing state-of-the-art equipment in a large modern shop. Second-year students enrolled in the Service Techniques course learn to diagnose and repair customer vehicles as they would in a professional garage. This experience boosts the transition from student to professional technician.
