How to upgrade old desktop to play games?
I have an hp pavillion 6635 desktop the i got for free from my grandma and dont need it for the internet but want to play games on it. I downloaded a game i already own but it just kinda skips and takes long to load. I was just curious what i would have to do to get this computer to play decent games like racing simulation games and sim theme park. Thanks

Your system is only like 10 years old, should have Win98 or ME Product Registration Key sticker on the case.
If so, time to get a new computer. These things were built for exactly what grandma and grandpa needed it to do, connect ot the internet for email to keep up with grandkids. Thats about it.
If it has XP, Open the System and look at the specs. Youll need about 2GB ram with XP, youll need an Add on GPU, and something more powerful than a Celeron. If it is XP, you can start by doing a system recovery back to original purchase date to insure the carp is out and the HD is cleaned.
Umm, Dells are not made to be upgraded, they're disposable like all the other brand-in-a-box systems like HP, Compaq, eMachines, Acer, Gateway and Lenovo.
