Texas holdem poker game is a community card game. Each player is dealt two cards face down called pocket cards and five community cards are dealt at the center of the table for every player to see. There are four rounds of betting that take place during the game. With players being able to check, call or raise in these betting rounds. The players then make up a combination of poker hand from the two pocket cards and the five community cards. The winner is then determined by identifying the player that make up the best hand during the showdown. The player with the best hand will be announced the winner.
Anaconda and Limbo are other poker games. In the next paragraphs we will be discussing briefly about these game and how it is played. Anaconda can be played by up to seven players and each player is dealt seven cards. Each player players discards three cards and pass it to the player to his left and so on with other players.
And each player stacks their five remaining cards in the order player wishes to expose them. Betting occur every after exposure of each card. Exposure continues until last card and declaration of bet then the showdown. Player with a high card wins.
Another example is the Limbo. This game can be played by up to seven players with each player dealt six cards face down no peeking and seven cards dealt face up in the center. Dealer arranges the seven in the middle into the best high hand possible and discards the remaining two cards. Player to the dealer's left exposes a card and bet. The same with other player until only one player remains. The highest hand is the winner.
