How much does a "power band" cost?

Question by Anonymous321: How much does a "power band" cost?
I was in the motorcycle shop the other day, and the mechanic told me I should think about getting a "power band" for my bike. I'd like to know where I can order something like that and how much it costs. Does anyone see a real benefit to having a power band on their bike?

A wide or narrow power band? Did he say which was needed for your bike? Will he be doing the setup or do you have the tools to shim the muffler bearings as part of this procedure?

  2. I think he meant a rubber band. You might want to consider a Plastic Ono Band as well. While you're at it, loosen your head band a bit.

  7. Go to your local bike shop and at the parts counter ask for a Holmes head & shaft kit; -don't forget the longer jug rod bolts. Ask your tech to install it in the back door. He'll know exactly what do do....
