  3. Why do insurance companys do this? It is nothing but prejudice and descrimination and they wouldn't get away with this if they did it according to a persons race, so why should age be a factor?

  10. @mackat4ck I agree with you, it is prejudice, but it is based on a little truth. Experience matters. When you first hopped into a car, i imagine you would have trouble driving, i know i did. but the more experience i got the better i became, and no matter what you say, that is reality. I agree with you, but i can see where they come from. what they need to do is drastically increase the rate at which they reduce premiums, so it becomes cheaper sooner.

  11. @somecrazy2 what annoys me more is that because I'm male I'll spend the rest of my life paying double the premium of any equivalent female. I know there are statistics to back all this up, but I still don't think it's fair!

Hey, great piece of advice. The most important thing you can do to save a lot of money when it comes to auto insurance is getting different quotes from several companies

  13. @mackat4ck I know, it sucks, and what suck more is that they don't just judge your age, they judge your sex 2. IF your a male driver, then will charge you MORE then a female teen driver. Because they think girl's would drive better then guys.

  14. @joewillgo I know! It's completely ridiculous! I know they have statistics, but what does that prove? You can make statistics do anything you want them to!

Raised our car insurance 25 percent, they said everybody’s went up. What? In this economy? Now Paying 450 bucks for 6 months on two cars that are 1995 and 1997. Liability. 100 deductible.
