    260KPH you have the facts wrong... those engines when "cold" will not even turn over, the tolerances are so close that when cold the engine seizes... to be amble to turn them over warm oil, I repeat for those who are stupid. WARM OIL is pumped through the entire engine, bringing it up to near operating temperature...

    Bugatti dont know whats a corner? :) And how so it is faster than enzo, carrera GT, zonda f...at least at topgear race track :) I know that it is a heavy car, almost 2 tons, but still can do 1,4 latteral G. And I doubt that german produced car that have steering like a mustang :)

    I would really want to see both those cars race in the track with each other, umm like the Nurburgring at Germany for instance...lol I feel the Mclaren will win easily, and I'm tired of seeing the Buggati Veyron in the straights, put it in corners already!

    That video is soooo done for TV there is no way a mclaren F1 can even get in front of a Veyron in a drag race, the veyron is the fastest car to 60mph, 100, mph and any top speed. Granted the F1 is fast but not near the Veyron, here is a comparison, an F1 can fly past a veyron at 100mph then the veyron sets off, the veyron will pass the F1 BEFORE it reaches 200. TRUST ME.

    Yep I agree with @CobraProductionsTV....the Bugatti Veyron is way heavier than the Mclaren F1, I wouldn't be surprised if the Mclaren reaches 100mph faster than the Veyron does..

    @CobraProductionsTV doesnt matter, the bugatti has 4wheel drive, ive seen a actual race, even the Zonda Cinque which has 678hp as opposed to the Mclaren F1 627 hp cannot accelerate faster than a veyron, the horsepower 4wheel drive and torque makes up for the weight disadvantage, think a nissan 485 hp GTR can out accelerate a 604 hp Mercedes SL65AMG , its all of the drive and power distrubution, ps the Zonda Cinque is 2800lbs 678hp McLaren F1 2500 lbs 627hp thats a real close number.

    I'd wager it's more a difference in gearing. The Veyron is geared to reach that magical 250 mph mark while the McLaren wasn't built for high speed runs.

    Gearing does play a part but remember the F1 was geared to do 241.... If you look at any record book or website or even in the guiness book the bugatti is the fastest car to any specific mph. Taking nothing from the mclaren, it is a wonderful car but that was a tv stunt

    @Infernostar18 Nah ... Some say the Veyron's launch control wasn't on... Some say they just staged it for a bit of drama. Fact is... U can let an F1 reach 120 and then "set off" in the Veyron and beat it to 200.
