What are some games and activities to play while babysitting 3 boys?

I babysit for this family quite often. Their kids are 7, 5, and 2. I always bring games, activities, videos, and books for them so they don't ever get bored while I'm there. (All 3 kids are boys!)Normally I do "themed" nights (We've had Baseball Night- play baseball, eat hotdogs for dinner, and watch a baseball movie. We've had 4th of July- fireworks craft and make cookies with red, white, and blue icing. We've had the Olympics Night and so on...) I'm kind of running out of ideas and activities and games to bring. Normally I'm there at night for 2 or 3 hours (7-10 pm) and the 2 year old is asleep by 7:45 and the other kids go to bed at 9:00... What are some more activities I can bring or games we can play that will be fun for them???
Take into consideration that they really don't like to play games that involve competition... One of them always loses and cries.

So Many Orange County Kids Activities

There are many types of organizations available that offer youth activities. There are also many types of youth activities offered. What is important is that you, as parents or guardians, carefully choose exactly the right program and organization for your child.Among the types of organizations offering programs are City and County programs, private programs, school related programs, community funded programs, and neighborhood programs to name a few. Examples of City sponsored programs would be programs offered by the City of Tustin, or Orange. Counties also offer programs, of course funded by the county government. If you reside in Orange County and are looking for Orange County Kids activities, you would inquire what Orange County has on offer for your kids.Orange County Kids activities are as varied as other activities programs for kids. Some of the programs offered may be summer camps or various sports programs. Orange County Kids activities are offered from the ages of one and a half to fourteen or so. The kids activities are based on the children's' ages and skill levels, both motor skills and social skills. These programs serve several purposes. One of the most important is that they give the children activities they can do each day, or every other day or however the program is structured. This gives the children something to look forward to and anticipate. Here is where you have to carefully choose the Orange County Kids activities that are best suited for your children. Not all programs are created nor treated equally. You not only need common sense here but as you want the best for your children; you will need to check out the programs that are available. Some things you might consider are:Distance form the home. Do you have the time available to make sure they get to the activity on time? Can the child walk to the activity? If the child is only two, you will have to make sure someone you trust is available to drop the child off and then pick the child up at the end of the activity, again in a timely manner. Children should never be left alone at a sports field or outside a building waiting for someone to come pick them up.Another consideration is if the child is quite young, does the activity require an adult to participate with the child? If so, again you need to make sure someone that is mature enough accompanies the child to the activity.Age of the group is also important. Most activities for children are grouped in age appropriate groups. You won't be able to put a five year old in a group for ages 7 to 12.The type of activity that is available is also an important consideration. You do have to take the child's maturity and athletic skills into consideration. It would also be nice if you considered what type of activity your child likes. A kid that loves to play chess may not enjoy soccer. Choose carefully.

Activities Of Orange County Kids

Just a list of some of the Orange County Kids activities that are available is amazing. It is wonderful that kids have the opportunities offered by Orange County Kids activities. There are so many different types of sports they kids can get involved with. Baseball or softball activities might teach a child how to correctly catch a ball without spraining their wrist. They may learn the correct way to swing a bat versus one that may hurt someone. Or will learn how to keep the bat under control so it doesn't fly out of their hands. They should learn to throw a ball accurately.Basketball will help a child acquire coordination as they dribble a ball and shoot towards a hoop. They will learn how to protect themselves if they go sliding across the basketball court after a fall.Football and soccer will also help their eye and hand coordination as they have to throw the football or kick the soccer ball accurately. These activities teach children to work together as a team but they also enhance a child's sense of protecting the ball from the opposing team, instilling a sense of pride in the child.Orange County Kids activities may also include golf that teaches a kid to connect to a golf ball with a golf club. This will teach hand and eye coordination, the ability to correctly estimate a distance and the ability to concentrate when trying to sink a put. These are all valuable skills they can carry further into their lives.Track and field is another activity that teaches a child many skills they can use in their lives like keeping a pace going so they can achieve the finish line. Not necessarily is it about strength but about maintaining a steady, maybe slow pace with the ultimate goal being completing the event or the race.Volleyball is another team sport that lets children support their teammates. Each position on a volleyball team is important, just as each position on any sports team is important. Children learn they are independent yet co-dependant on their teammates. One needs another to be successful. Just like in life.Activities such as sports clinics help a child to become better at their chosen sport. They show the child how to improve, not only their skills but their attitudes. Sports participation encourages a positive attitude in children. Sports clinics also help a child set and achieve a goal. Maybe its just being picked for a team or realizing they have assisted another player to reach the goal line.Children's activities can be a daily adventure into another world. They start a child believing they can be achievers. A child might not be at the top of the class but they may be one of the best in their Orange County Kids activities groups. They help a child grow in spirit, mind and body. They encourage a child's talents and interests. They may even define how a child looks ahead for success.
