What ever happened to Charles Gibson hosting ABC's "World News" b.k.a. "World News with Charles Gibson?"

Why is Diane Sawyer hosting it now and why has the title changed? The title seems to be changing every couple of years (i.e. from "World News Tonight," to "World News," to "ABC News" now... they should have just stuck with "'World News Tonight. Argh!).

R.I.P., Peter Jennings, and Charles, you are ALL READY missed.
