by wallyg

Question by nipples kostalakis: What do you think non americans, when an american uses a source that is one of their "news" networks?
seriously does anyone outside the usa believe what the USA "news" networks say?

ok i understand that whatever is "reported" on usa news will be supported by around 50% of usa people and rubbished by the other 50% (oh thank you wonderful two party system), but why do they expect people outside the usa to believe anything on a usa news channel?

Virtual Horse Racing Games Are A Great Source Of Virtual Entertainment

Parimutuel betting is an important highlight of horse racing games. The word 'parimutuel' is derived from the French language and means 'mutual betting'. In many countries, it is also known as the 'Tote'. In simple words, it can be defined as a betting system under which all bets of a particular kind are collected together in a pool; a house and taxes are eliminated and payoff odds are determined by sharing the pool amongst all the winning bets.

Online betting as well as virtual horse racing games are very popular with horse fanatics. The internet provides all horse lovers with loads of opportunities to not only participate in virtual but also gamble online. The parimutuel system of betting was developed by Catalan impresario Joseph Oller in the year 1867. Since there are a lot of complex calculations involved in parimutuel betting, a tote board known as a 'totalisator' is used.

The parimutuel system of betting is not only popularly used in horse gambling but other sporting events also such as the greyhound racing and jai alai. Many of the lottery games also employ a modified version of parimutuel betting system. The major difference between parimutuel betting and fixed odds betting is that in the former system, the final payout is not established until the pool is closed. But in the latter system of betting, the payout is determined at the time of selling the bet.

Generally, parimutuel betting is regulated by the laws and policies of the state. It is a common practice in many places where gambling is banned. Besides this, you can also take advantage of it at 'off track' facilities. This allows the players to place bet on events, without actually being present to observe them personally. Virtual horse racing games are great fun because you can not only enjoy playing them but also stand a chance of making some good money.

Win, Place, Show, Triactor, Exactor, Superfects, Box, Quinella, Duet, Double, Triple, Quaddie, Sweep and Each way are some of the most common kinds of bets placed on horse races.
