After a one day break from track action, the Formula 1 teams were back at work for a final week of testing in 2010. Today and tomorrow are officially designated as a Young Driver test, included on the calendar to deal with the fact that the in-season test ban makes it hard to give drivers from the lower formulae a chance to experience a Formula 1 car.

HRT young driver test report day 1
It was the first day of the Young Drivers Formula 1 test in Abu Dhabi today, and Pastor Maldonado was the first one to drive the HRT F110. This was only the second time the 25 year old was driving an F1 car after having tested with Minardi F1 in Misano 2004, and he demonstrated straight away that he is fast and can drive at constant pace.

Question by mystic95_z: Can I make my swing work for a 9* driver with a Stiff shaft?
Im 19 and I play "Bogey-Golf" My Handicap is 14. Im 5'10" and 152lbs and I recently recieved a Taylormade R7 "Draw" Driver as a present. It's a 9* with Stiff shaft. Im wondering what my chances are of making this thing work? Any tips on getting a nice launch angle? Im going to the range 2morrow morning for the 1st time and playing a round after so any help I can get tonight would be awesome.

Im sorry, I just saw stiff shaft & fell to the floor.....
