Do playing wii games online affect download limits?
I have recenly purchased Mario kart wii and i will be getting broadband soon, It will have a 2GB per month limit. People have told me that playing games online even on the wii will eat through this limit, is this true?
I do not believe this is true. The only way that this could possibly be true is if you needed memory for going on the internet because going on the internet and playing wii games online are pretty much the same thing. It will only affect your limit if you download virtual console titles because those do take up memory.
yes, lets say you download a picture from the net on your computer. You have to download it which takes up space on your hard drive, right? now playing a game over the net is a similar concept, you still have to download the instructions from the net, for example, the positions of where the other characters are on the track of Mario Kart Wii. It won't be as much in size as a picture but you still are downloading something.
