OK, thanks for the new link you sent me.
The G1 phone is made by HTC.
I have one, and it's really great. Also, that plan and the free phone deal is pretty sweet, if you don't mind the 18 month contract. I bought mine at a retail store here in the US because I specifically did not want to renew my contract. But I've been with T-Mobile a long time, and I really lusted after that phone. It was worth what I paid for it ($US375).
