Question by goodguy083: I'm sending a translated letter home with kids in my first grade class who have Spanish-speaking parents.....
Do I also need to make the masculine and feminine words clear. For example, since there are boys and girls in my class, would I say, "Su niño(a) es fantastico(a)!"
Or could I just say, "Su niño es fantastico!"

You can use the masculine form.
You might also want to consider some reminders, such as "El congreso continento voto por Ingles, no por Espagnol".
