Any good multiplayer games online for free?

I used to play games on gsn.com and chat with other ppl. but they changed the site n stuff...does anyone know of any good fun free multiplayer game sites online? my friend lives on the other side of the island n we want to challenge each other. we played games on yahoo but we got bored of those games...anyone can help? thanks!
