ReplyDeleteno. people should depend on many.
ReplyDeleteNo, television news programs (especially local) give the least time to presenting all sides of a given issue. Unfortunately, with the demise of print journalism this may soon be all we have.
ReplyDeleteI Absolutely agree. Take all the extreme LEFT view points from MSNBC and all the extreme RIGHT view points from FOX and maybe we would come a little closer to the facts. Better yet SHUT OFF the tube and read the Wall Street Journal.
ReplyDeletewhen the others lie and distort? yes
ReplyDeleteAs the wife of a 5-times deployed soldier I cannot trust CNN, ABC, MSNBC, or CBS after the lies that they regularly told and continue to tell about the Iraqi War and the military.
ReplyDeleteFox was the only network that presented the truth about the situation there, and even they were slanted against the truth sometimes.
Most veterans and soldiers have nothing but disgust for the leftists' lies, and watch Fox to get the best hope of news.
For me, I get my news mostly from the Internet, but NEVER from any network but Fox.
I like fox but I do agree. It is just a starting point. I have learned to look at Fox and other sources(CNN is useless) if I want to know what is going on.
ReplyDeleteI was just listening to Headline News until Jane Velez Mitchell blamed Bush for all the Chicago high school girls being knocked up. Isn't that Obama's territory? I'll stick to FOX thank you.
ReplyDeleteToday's American wants to be told what to do and think.
ReplyDeleteI get most of my information from reading, but I do watch Fox as well. Sometimes I watch Hardball on NBC because the stupidity of Chris Matthews always makes me thankful God didn't make me that dumb. i know it's not right to raise my own self-esteem at the expense of others, but that guy is a bigger laughing stock than Obama.
ReplyDeleteif you watch the daily show the next day you find pretty much everything jon stewart says typed out as questions here.
ReplyDeleteNo, it isn't. And that applies to all news stations, not just Fox.
ReplyDeleteIs always good to overreact with fear from Fox news and find out later that everything will be alright from other sources...
ReplyDeleteKey word is decide for self what is truth....Truth is many just have to be spoon fed the soft food.
ReplyDeleteyes, if your belief system is fragile!
ReplyDeleteNo it is not a smart thing. That is called being stuck in a rut.*
ReplyDeleteEveryone needs to thoroughly examine multiple, varied sources of information for the fullest picture.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a terribly stupid idea. Fox doesn't deliver news, just the conservative right-wing bias version of the truth. and republicans think democrats are the ones who are easily brainwashed. :/
ReplyDeleteNo. That's why I and most conservatives get their News from various sources. What's your point ? God bless.
