When a system is being integrated out of sub-systems, a typical "bright idea" is to produce a "system manual". Supposedly the subsystem manuals will be insufficient.
But isn't there now a liability problem - if essential information that was in the subsystem manual is left out of the system manual, or if information is changed ?
I wonder what Collins Australian submarines did - did they create a "new" system manual - were there liability problems ?

With out a "systems manual"..you will not know which subsystem manuals you are to use..

Unless the computer is already corrupt it should be able to self generate a system manual that would have no errors, in fact be a basic outline of the user manuals.
