@CaliGMSGirl apparently your exposure is very limited and I expressed myself poorly . Self deprecating humor is positive! Believe me I do not encourage ignorance! Inclusion is the ultimate goal! Why is it ok for comedians to make fun of gender, sexual preference, age, race etc yet horrible to make fun of the disabled? That in it self separates them to a "special" category and that is where ignorance begins! it is easy to be offended but harder to see past the offence to the lesson beyond.
