Policemen and fire departments are meant to keep the people safe from crime and fires, I don't think this vid is arguing against that. As for cheap mail. HA! As an eBay powerseller I move more boxes than you can imagine, I can tell you, the private sector (UPS/Fedex) is the best value. So privatized mail + brining in competition = thumbs up .
@Richierua You seem to be confusing socialism for capitalism. Socialism is the idea that a government can have a large role in the life of its citizens (eventually subjects). It can't without infringing on the rights of the individual. Capitalism is the idea that every person can make their own way in the world, regardless of class, race, or creed without the goverment's help.

I know people who grew up in communist block countries and live in the US now are saying that the current regime (and that is the appropriate word) is how the communists took control in their own countries. They cannot take freedom because
in socialist countries there are usually so many political parties that no one could seize power. Socialist nations-sweden, ireland, france are all among the best places to live in. The EU ( a socialist style union) has a bigger economy than china, russia or the US.
Yes, and possibly make sure that we have the circumstances to be enabled to thrive economically. In other words, don't make things bad economically. Just making sure re have full and free markets. Time to give back the powers to the states and more closely to "We the {ep[;e" until we are satisfied that the tyrants aren't in power.

I don't understand what this guy is saying. He thinks we shouldn't have government or taxes? The size of our government is already insanely small; it controls less than 2% of all of our assets. Also, what's so wrong with the socialism in this country? I'm pretty happy that we have free public schools, policemen, fire departments and cheap mail. Ya'll need to take a breath and settle down. We're a far, far cry from The Soviet Union.
