I'm a junior and looking at colleges I want to visit this summer, and a lot of them require two years of "social studies" classes (separate from an additional 2 years of history classes). I'm just wondering what classes specifically would be considered social studies, since it's not the same thing as history?
I know my school offers psychology and sociology, but also mythology which I took freshman year, and I'm not sure if that's a social study.

That depends entirely on your state and school/school district. You can look at your school's website or go to your guidance councilor and find out.
ETA: You'd have to ask your guidance councilor, because it still totally depends on your district. Sorry I can't be of more help.
