When I turn off my computer after it saves my settings it says "now you can close with safety your computer".But I have seen that other computers don't do that.Is there a way to disable it?
Somebody told me that it can be done at the Power Options on Bios but I went there and didn't know which option to choose.Can you help me please?

Depending on how old your computer is; you can't.
Just hit the power button after that shows up.

This is the first part of a planned 16-bit computer that will run entirely in minecraft. That computer will be "Hack" compatible, which is to say that it'll run code meant for the Hack machine described in The Elements of Computing Systems (a fantastic book that you should look up if you are at all interested in how computers work. I'm getting ready to install Verizon's DSL and am being told to "close all programs running on my computer" including firewall software before beginning the self installation".

How do I do this? Please help
For clarification: I cannot turn my computer off because I have to use a CD to install the equipment and software....but I must close "all running programs including firewall sofware".

If you press control, Alt, delete at the same time it will give you the programs that are running and you can exit them from there.

When I search with google, the top option is "files stored on my computer". This is sometimes when it comes to finding Word documents, but I noticed that no matter WHAT I do, all the pages I've ever looked on in my life show up in these files. Even when I delete all my browsing history, cookies, AND temporary internet files-- these pages are still there.
How do I get rid of these???

Whenever i turn on my pc it says "checksum error". I have to press F1 to contunue the boot up.Then after the boot up my time settings would go back to January 2001. (Both system time and windows time). How do i fix it?

How do you connect to a "computer to computer" wireless network?

Question by jimm120: How do you connect to a "computer to computer" wireless network?
I have noticed that whenever I search for wireless signals with my netbook, I get 2 or 3 wireless signals that say "Computer to Computer" wireless networks. It even lets you connect to it. But the internet still doesn't work.

How, exactly, do these types of wireless signals work?

The ones I always see are "Secretaria SEJ", "neolanusers", and "TEC"....at least at the place I work at there are those signals.

So, how do I actually get internet from these signals?

you cant these are adhoc signals usually from businesses for intracomputer data transfers
